Tallow is naturally similar to the oils found in our skin, helping lock in moisture without needing a long, complicated formula.
Customers repeatedly describe their skin as feeling softer, smoother and hydrated for longer, without the greasy feel they expected.
Our tallow is regeneratively sourced from cattle raised in a way designed to work with the land, rather than against it. They graze on land managed without pesticides, herbicides or fungicides and are raised without antibiotics or steroids.

Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
If the butter softens in warm weather, refrigerate for 15 minutes and allow it to return to room temperature before use.

I have tried almost all BTBF body butters. I truly like them all, but I keep coming back to my favorite, Sandalwood. My skin feels so good since I started using these butters and the scent of the sandalwood is so calming and comforting. It also pairs beautifully with their Bare Cashmere Essence roll-on oil.
Love the mild scent. The body butter is so light and will be used on the daily.

We do want to clarify that we use pure sandalwood essential oil, not synthetic fragrance. True sandalwood has a much softer, earthier, and more subtle aroma than the sharp or perfumey “sandalwood” scent many people are used to, which is often created with artificial fragrance oils. Natural sandalwood can smell quite different from brand to brand depending on the species and origin, and it also evolves gently on the skin.

Amazing product! The smell is very nice and not over powering. The body butter is thick and creamy so a little goes a long way. My skin feels amazing.
The body cream is the first thing I have every used that actually relieved dry skin of feet, especially rough, dry heels. You don't have to use much. I am really glad I got the sandal wood version. I also use on my hands and knees. I find I like the texture of the body butter better than the face butter, which has a more waxy feel. I put a little body butter on my neck and forehead. I carefully apply it around me eyes, but avoid getting it into my eyes, because it will make my eyes water a bit if it gets into my eyes. Highly recommend!
I love these products and decided to order some backups while BTBF was having their July 4th sale. I finally finished my first body butter jar (without the essential oils) and opened the sandalwood today. It is incredible and the fragrance is amazing!! So lovely! If you are thinking of trying the BTBF line I strongly encourage you to do so. I have dry, fair, sensitive skin and the body, face and lip products have been game changers for me. The sandalwood is my absolute favorite! I love all their creams. I’ve bought several and the sandalwood and the almond are my two favorite sandalwood even more. They’re so luscious. I also like the hydrating face cream, which is fantastic different texture perfect for the face.
Excellent body butter! Sandalwood is a favorite scent of mine, and it just plain works for this dude. I use it after I shower and it helps keep my skin from drying out living in AZ, and being an avid sunbather.
I purchased the sandalwood body butter, nicely subtle scent and the body butter is super moisturizing. The company put a cherry on top with a free soap and a handwritten thank you note…amazing products from an amazing company, very impressive!
